Zappu Inch-Wacky
Last weekend there was a fishing show that we exhibited at and one of the reps for Optima Baits stopped by our booth with a Zappu Wacky Head. It is very similar to the Jackall flick shake head. Anyway he took one of our stick worms and one of our shaky worms to the 110,000 gallon "lake" that they had set up for pros to do seminars on while in boats. He filmed the stick worm, but the shaky worm really went nuts too.
I'm not trying to advertise for our worms, just saying that this technique looks great! I went and bought four bags of the wacky heads myself. I can't wait to try this as I bet it will drive the fish nuts in a little deeper water than the normal wacky rig is used. We use a very soft plastic formula and I bet that other super soft plastic baits might have similar action. Check it out: http://s126.photobucket.com/albums/p...PU-Nemesis.flv I know I am dying to give it a try, it falls a lot slower than I would have expected. Heck, I might even go try it through the ice for some pike. |
