The line guide ?
I just bought a used Abu Garcia 5000 Pro Series. The line guide will skip or hang up on either side. Loading up the sides with line. Is thier an adjustment or does it just need cleaning? It sure makes a mess, almost like a backlash!
I'm just getting back into fishing and I don't want to ruin a good reel. Is there anything I should be aware of before I tear it apart? If needed....I located a place for parts but no reel... real information lol. |
