we held a mini tourny at the sercert lake today..a place that houses some toads..

i got 3 dinks first thing on a blade..fished in the back of several more creeks. way in the back of a creek.i caught my first keeper while surfacing a blade over a log..pulled out the buzzer third cast she rolled at it. kept up the 5 feet spacing with the buzzer started griding them off about 30 cast later 1/2 way thru the grid and OH MY GAWD!!!







troller jamed into the mud i am fighting a toad with one hand rocking the boat tring to release the troller with the other. oh yeah it was a one man chinesse fire drill for a bit..

i put her in the live well and sat on the front deck fightin for composer..

i pulled her out and weighed her -my scale was off by 1 full pound- very stoked i finish my grid..

as i put her back in the 15" and the 14" keepers try to jump out of the live well.i catch the 15" but the 14" gets by me and i get ahold of him and chunk him back in the live well..

i pretty much went into the back of every creek i could find catching the 3rd keeper-3 fish limit- that was BARELY 14".. 10 mintues to go i easy over to the dam rip rap..and using a blade i pick off a decent 2.5ish pound bass..-i got cussed out for doing it too-lmao...

i culled for the second time..

at weighin.. i go first -cause i am there-big fish went 6.404 pounds with a three fish limit weighin 11.515 pounds enough for first and the money..
