Swimbait Thoughts
I just wanted to mention to those interested in swimbaits that the saltwater section of your local store may be a cheaper/better alternative to traditional freshwater swimbaits. H&H lures has a large variety of lures that are popular in the south and work well for large mouth bass. Growing up I used these baits for speckle trout and redfish, but recently began throwing them with great success for bass. I simply use a 1/4oz jig head and make sure that the bait is rigged as straight as possible. I have also started using my cordless dremel tool to remove some of the body, which gives the bait more tail action. This has been working really well in muddy water conditions. I'll try to post some pics of the baits I have been playing with. H&H cocahoes are awesome in shad and chart. colors.
