Morels come up in southern ohio third week of april till 3rd week or may if the conditions and rain are right, first the blacks and grays and then the yellow sponge. If its really rainy the snakeheads are plentiful but not much meat in the centers.
The other kind of mushrooms (psilocybe magic mushroom) don't grow here, but you can grow them indoors from spores  |
