Be careful when swiming.
This is wild. We use to swim in this lake when I was a kid, then it got so nasty we avoided it. But a lot of folk still went into it and fished it. The damn broke several years ago and hasn't been long since they filled it back up. This guy's son just got a flesh eating bacteria from swiming in it, after the town spent a ton to get it cleaned up, repaired, and made sure it was safe to swim.
