advise/ suggestions on Rod

well im thinking about getting a bait casting reel and im going to have to get a new rod to accompany it. (ive always used spinning gear so this is new to me)

now, what should i be looking for as far as sensitivity goes? what kind of rating? as far as length, ill probably stick with 7' , as those are what my spinning rods are, but for the life of me cant remember what kind of sensitivity rating those had.im sure theres probably something better i can use for those set-ups as well .Rod wise
