New spot!
I was sittin home bored, so I decided to put the boat in a couple lakes I'd only ever fished from shore, with Godawful results, I might add.
Turtle Lake-10 minutes from my house. Sissy Pads on one end, Sissy Pads on the far end. Color me back on the road. Bass Lake Jr- 20 minutes from my house. Not the one I was rained off on Friday. Circled 3/4 of the lake and was angling toward the boat launch when I decided to check out what appeared to be a cove in the 1 part of the lake I hadn't checked. Lo and behold, real pads! Got a couple blow ups on a Bobby's Perfect Frog, but no hooksets until I lit into this 3 1/2. Only about a foot deep in there so he came out of the water, 3-4 times before I got him in the boat. I'm headin back in the morning
