District 9!!!!
This movie is one of the best science fiction movies of ALL TIME. Finally a movie without the cookie-cutter protagonist. He's a realistic guy, full of flaws, yet redeemable and likeable at the same time. They only spent 30 million dollars on this film, mostly because they didn't buy some Hollywood megastars more Malibu beach houses with exhorbitant salaries. That and they spent their CGI effects money WISELY. I am very hard to please with movies today, yet I give this movie a well-deserved 9.5 out of 10.
