yeah i have also viewed the importance of both reels in the rgards that i have lures too light to throw on my baitcaster...such as my new 1/8 oz. little floating rapala minnow that my girl got for me
 but she's caught some nice sized fish on it so i think i can try to throw that one....maybe i am throwing baits too big for the fish that are around me right now, and perhaps i will go with the spinning combo for a while and throw the lighter and smaller stuff for a bit....see how that goes...I think the fish will come with time and practice.
