A reminder to the newer parents
Yesterday afternoon, I was listening to a conversation with some of the younger Marines who work for me. Two of the guys have wives who are expecting. They were both discussing all of the things that they and their children will and won't do. How their kids would never (fill in the blank).
They turned to me and asked my opinion. I just chuckled and told them. "I too was a better parent before I ever had kids"
