I have fish a lot of ponds. While I enjoy fishing these, I find that they can be restrictive when it comes to baits and presentations. One pond in particular is only 8-10 foot deep and the weeds come very close to the top of the water.
Last week, I picked up one of the Rapala DT Fat with a diving depth of 1 foot. Before throwing this, I considered a 3 foot diver to be the most shallow crank that I would throw. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...005000_100-5-1 It can be swam slowly to be a wake bait, or faster to dive. The only thing I did not like about it is the limitations in colors. (only 4 so far) So that question becomes, who else make very shallow diving cranks? Which ones do you prefer?
