Trailer Insurance Question
Hey guys,
Quick question regarding the insuring of a small boat trailer. I recently added coverage of the trailer to my car insurance for no charge because it is a 12' boat trailer and is very small. I own the boat/trailer with another person with a seperate car and the boat will be trailered frequently by both of us. I know that the trailer will be covered by my insurance when I trailer it, but if the other person was towing the trailer would it still be covered? Is there a way to "split" the insurance so both cars are covered? Thanks for any replies. I figured I would ask here before I call my insurance company just so I know whats going on. |
