I'm willing to bet money if you asked 100 bass fisherman whether they peg their worm weights or not, you'll get a 50/50 split in responces. So I thought I would start this post. Do you peg your worm weights or not, and why? I usually do peg mine especially when fishing around brush and other areas with snags. However when crawling the worm accross the lakes floor I can see an advantage to not pegging as this would allow the bass to suck in the worm and swim off without the being detected as easily.
