Hey guys I went to a private pond with Ryan today and fished in some tough conditions. There were 40 mph wind with 50 mph gusts but I still managed to catch one
Started off throwin a 1/4 oz Redeye Shad in their new color Sexy Ghost Minnow. Just pullin it up and then lettin it flutter back down. Thats when i say "the flash". I gave the rod a yank and started reelin her in. Once he got to the bank I saw he had one hook in him . I decided to take a chance and swing him. Once I got him up on the bank I unhooked him and weighed him. He went 1-8. Not bad for first bass of the year! Ryan also caught a couple. He caught one on a fluke that went 2-11 and another one on a custom spinnerbait the went 3-1.Pretty good day considering the conditions!
