My daughter and I got out yesterday for our 6th outing of the season. We caught a total of 9 largemouths between us putting our total for the season at 79. Previous to yesterdays outing we had yet to hit the 3 pound mark for the season with approximately eight 2 pounders of the 70 we had caught. My daugher was the first to break the 3 pound mark with a 3 lbs 6 oz and I caught a personal best by 1 oz at 3 pound 5 oz. My daughters pb is 4lbs 6oz. The scale toggled back and forth from 6 to 5 ounces on mine and finally settled at 5 ounces which gave her the win by an ounce......lol. We don't keep any fish, we simply get a weight when warranted and a picture and the fish goes back to be caught again another day. Last year was our first season of bass fishing and we've definitely have come a long ways since. I'm hoping to crack the 4 pound mark by the end of the season. It was a great day.......................
