Been sitting here watching the sky and the weather report since 6am. Ol' mister crickets was calling for scattered t-storms and cloudy conditions all day. So I figured I'd wait out the storms and hit the water once they broke.
Every hour, I went back to the weatherman. And every hour, he said it was 'bout to hit any minute. So I waited... And I waited... And waited some more... Fast forward 14 hours - it hasn't rained a lick, and looks like it might have passed through, but I've missed at least 14 hours of 70-75 degree weather, a steady barometer, thick, cloudy skies, and 5-10 mph winds. Wonder how the fishing was today? ![]() |
