First of the year
I've been fishing for the past few days since the weather has been so nice but not having any luck. I've been having a hard time to find the fish but I can tell you that they are not shallow and not holding onto structure. Finally today I caught my first of the year:
  Not a giant but a good way to start the year, if you don't count the hundreds of casts without hooking up. It came on slow rolling a chatterbait that I made a custom WM/Gold skirt for with half a swim Senko as a trailer. And just to rub in our great weather to the guys up north, here's a photo from last night:
