Default Bass Boat Motor Advice

My 2000 Norris Craft boat just came out of mold today. Was let set up longer than most so boat would be stronger. It is midnight blue with red and gray accents with blue carpet. I decided to go with 350 Mercury but have to buy a $4000 mounting kit and plate. I really wanted an Evinrude but Norris Craft leans heavily and I mean heavy to Mercury. Evinrude will supply motor in their blue black color which will go better with boat than the white 350's they have in stock. White motors would be cheaper but i think look really bad with the boat. Prop is coming from custom shop in Nashville so both motors will perform the same.
Norris Craft says they can work on Evinrudes but are really better on Mercurys and if need be will be can get factory tech to help with Evinrude if need be. Which would you choose. Have a week to decide.

Thanks
