I fished the Indiana BASS Top 8 tournament at Lake Patoka last weekend. The weather was brutal Saturday, and not so kind on Sunday either. Saturday started out at 55 degrees, and dropped all day long to 40 degrees. Sunday was bluebird, high pressure skies. It all started well, I weighed in 11.41lb on day 1 and was sitting in 12th place out of 190. Day 2 I blanked and dropped to 32nd. I wish I had day 2 to do over again...........and fished it my way vs. the boaters way but that is the dilemma of a boater vs. non-boater format.
Anyway, the reason I write this on the "bragging board" is because my day 1 weight was anchored by a 7.44lber. I wish I had a picture to show you guys, but I didn't get one. :-( I do have the weigh in slip I can share though. ![]() I had a great weekend to say the least, and the wife is enjoying the big bass $. ![]() Hope all is well with everybody.
