Well, stick a fork in it, this one is done. This was built on a Castaway 823 6'10" (Cut down to 6'6") for a small topwater rod. The colors are meant to follow a buddy's motorcycle preference (Hint Hint). The rod balances about 1" in front of the reel (I used a Curado). I went with Fuji guides on the rod with a 5mm low guide, (1)#4, and finished out with #3s. This build went pretty smooth for me though and it cast as smooth as glass. That is the bad part about building a rod for people though, giving them up when you are done.
