Now this is fishing the weeds/slop!!

I was dragging a worm over the top of this mess from my kayak and the action was incredible. It was exciting to see the fish swimming under this, disturbing the top slightly before smacking the surface with gusto. I did much better getting hits over the slop then I did in the occassional open area.

This is my daughters first fish she ever caught. A little smallmouth. Two days ago, on that same outfit rigged for a bluegill, a smallmouth that weighed probably 7 or 8 pounds hit it. Lost it right at the boat trying to lift it over the edge.
