as the day moves on what do they do

i know i have been blowing up the board with odd, questions but i love forums casue i am talkng to real people and getting the normal mans answer. anyway not going to get to go early as i thought but around 11 or 12 in the morning. i know in summer in morning top water or buzz, moving on to pastics and cranks. but in winter what do bass do? do the move or stay in one place waiting for the meal( i know the are slow in winter) i wanted to pitch cover, use cranks and jerk baits. will this work all day?

going to a new place with deep water and lots of timber and brush down it is all walking distance around 4 coves above my damn,
