Default Lets see some fishing pictures

I think we used to do a thread every once in a while where we uploaded some of our favorite fishing pictures. I am on the laptop right now and most of our older pictures are on the desk top but I still thought I would start another fishing picture thread and put up some of the better fishing pictures I have on the laptop. So lets see your pics and hear the stories behind them.

This is a sunrise on Grand Lake while I was pre-fishing a tournament last summer.

Here is a sunrise that dad and I shared while pre-fishing for a tournament last spring. Usually I pre-fish by myself but the conditions were really tough and even though Britney and I were going to be fishing against my dad and cousin in the tournament, I took him pre-fishing with me because I figured two heads were better than one in this situation.

Here is one of many good fish we caught at the Kentucky Lake get together in 2009.

Here is a toad that I caught while flipping laydowns on Grand Lake. I owned my Ranger at the time.

Here is a good crankbait fish I caught while pre-fishing for a tournament. Again in the Ranger.

This fish here isn't that big but the story behind it is kinda cool. Britney and I were graphing some deep brushpiles and ledges one morning last summer. I came across a school of bass in a brushpile and she kept saying that those weren't fish in that brushpile. I killed the motor and dropped the trolling motor. This is what my first cast produced, and I went on to have a good flurry that produced a pretty good limit in about 10 minutes out of the same brushpile. She lost the bet and had to clean my boat when we got home LOL.

You never know what you will catch when you are cranking ledges LOL.

A good fish I caught while pre-fishing a tournament last May. I saw her come out of the laydown and follow my spinnerbait for a few yards before eating it. If I would have known how big she was I wouldn't have caught her. The good news is we won the tournament anyways.

Here are 3 of our better fish out of our 5 fish limit that won one of our tournaments last year. This was the biggest win for me because I had one of those morning where nothing went right. After having a melt down that morning and not having a fish in the boat by 12:30 I sat down and took a moment to gather myself. We ended up figuring them out and caught 8 or 9 keepers in the last 2:30 hours of the tournament. The big fish in my left hand was caught on the last cast of the day before we hauled butt to weigh-in. It's odd that you catch a fish on your last cast but it's even more rare that it wins big bass for the tournament and helps you win the tournament by less than a pound. That was the day that I learned to stay positive no matter what because it's never too late to turn your day around if you stay in the right mind frame.
