Default Some pictures from the Classic

I finally got most of the pictures off of my cell phone uploaded to photobucket. The hard part is narrowing down all the pictures I want to post. I still have some on Britneys phone and also the camera that I might upload later but this will have to do for now.

Pictures from the launch:

Rather than go to the launch again on day 2, we decided to go down to the lock that the pros were going through to get to pool 4. This proved to be one of the coolest things we did on this trip. Getting to see them come flying down river towards the lock was cool, but watching them idle out single file was awesome. When they got out of the no wake zone and took off it got crazy LOL.

Here are some pics from the lock.

On day 3 we took a drive down to a marina not too far down from the launch site. If you followed the classic on Bassmaster.com you probably heard them talking about McDade. Well we went into McDade and spent most of the day watching Dustin Wilks fish. This was really cool for me because I have always liked Dustin Wilks and it was cool to get this close to him while he was fishing. He actually culled twice while we were there and then came up to where we were standing and talked to us while he was fishing. If you watch the Classic on ESPN be sure and pay attention to Dustin Wilks on the water coverage on day 3. I am sure that we will be on there because when he caught a fish we would scream and clap and he would hold the fish up for us and the ESPN camera guy was shooting us.

On day 3 we went back to the launch site to watch all the pros load their boats back up. This was a cool way to wrap things up, the first thing we saw was them launching and the last thing we saw was them loading up 3 days later. When it started getting closer to time for them to check in a lot of pros came in the area of the marina and fished so we got to see some more on the water action.

KVD fishing by the marina.

Here are a few pictures that really don't fit in under any other catagory LOL.

My wife Britney wanted to stop so she could go get her picture taken while she was picking cotton out of a field.

Even their beer in Louisiana is Mardi Gras themed.

There is nothing better than cajun seafood.

Here is a Ranger boat that has been decked out with rails to take wounded soldiers fishing.

Anyone who thinks of Skeet Reese like I do will find it funny that he was standing at just the right angle to turn a Dick's Sporting goods sign into a nametag LOL.
