This is just plain crazy. It's like someone set our calendar ahead two or three months last weekend instead of just our clocks by an hour.
The all-time record high here for tomorrow (March 14) is 61°, set back in 1990. Tomorrow's predicted high is 76°! That is insane. FIFTEEN degrees higher than the current record...yikes! The average high here on March 14 is 39°. Unreal. The average high for all of March never leaves the 40s, but our LOWEST predicted high for the next 15 days is 56°. We should be setting plenty of daily high temp records. And to close with another interesting note, to me anyway, the overnight low last Friday night up on the lake where our cabin is was -3°. And of course that was followed with a daytime high on Saturday of 55°! Going from below zero to 55 above in just a matter of hours is nuts. Talk about a bizarre winter continuing right into a bizarre spring... ![]() |
