BASS just released a map of the area of Green Bay that will be fished during the "Mystery" tournament in a couple of weeks. It appears as though the WI DNR put most of the bay off limits during the tournament, including prime bass waters.
I don't know anything about Green Bay or Lake Michigan but you can tell by the map they are only allowed to fish the southern tip of the bay. Why have a tournament there if they have most of the good water off limits? Does the WI DNR look down on bass fishing as some of the commenters suggest, (including an Elite Pro from WI)? In the grand scheme of things, these guys will catch fish and the playing field is even. It does seem like the hosts would want to attract as many fisherman to their state as possible by putting on a great tournament with big weights. If Joe or anyone else from that area have any opinions on the subject, I'd love to hear them. http://www.bassmaster.com/news/where...ill-be-fishing
