Happy Anniversary

39 years ago today (1973) I was trying to calm the nerves of my best man...who couldn't believe I wasn't nervous. Following the reception, we drove to Lake George. Since I was a high roller in those days (and still), we had a late dinner at the Dairy Queen. We stayed at Scottys motel on the lake. I unintentionally turned the heat in the room off that first night and we woke up freezing cold!

We have faced a lot together over the years ... serious illness, financial woes and more, but managed to survive stronger and better. Such is life's training ground.

"Loved her then, loved her still....always have, always will."

With a recent trip and other events, we've eaten out so much lately, so instead of going out to dinner tonight, I'm cooking steak, shrimp and a couple of lobster tails.
(sorry, private party - the restaurant is closed!)
