Vacation starts today!

Taking my last weeks vacation this week with the wife. Not going on any big trip or anything. No moolah for that. It's short day trips here and there. Today, we're heading into Michigan to the Round Barn Winery, about an hour from my house. Then on to Three Oaks Michigan, to visit Driers Meat Market. The same Driers Meat Market that was in the Cristmas movie Prancer. It hasn't changed much since it opened durring the Civil War. Would have gone fishing today, but we tied a record low for today.

It got down to 29 degrees this morning. Good thing I went fishing yesterday. We'll get out later this week when it's warmer and not so windy! Gusts of 35mph are not friendly to jonboat owners! And thats the deal through Wendsday. But wine and sausage is a pretty good way to start the week.
