Good read with some new ideas..you may or may not of tried
Now I work squarebill cranks all season in hard bottom rivers.Especially if smallies are my target.
But here are some thoughts from Kieth Combs on dog day cranking. Kind of makes you rethink the traditional deep water hot summer time fish tactics. I found the thinking very rational and intriguing too. I do alot of drop shotting and shaky head jig fishing in August with the thinking the bass get lathargic and want slow presentations. Well I'm now rethinking this after reading Kieth Combs article. http://www.wired2fish.com/5-overlook...king-hotspots/ What do you anglers think?
