Since the creek was still muddy I knew to head right back into the pads for that clean water. Yep nice and clean it was but devoid of fish. Not even a sniff for the first two hours. Time to change it up again. Started throwing plastic worms on wood structure. Tide was topped out and no water movement for what seemed like an hour. May have been or even longer. No bites.. zippo none. So I make a big move to a feeder creek and start with poppers. No love as we watch snakeheads mate in the flooded grasses. Saw about four pair mating. And they will not hit when they are in the mood. As the sun fell behind the treeline we started picking up nice chunky LGMouth's and lost one snakehead to a pulled hook. Did real well till dark.
