I snuck out after nascar indy race for a few hours, 86 air temp, no wind, plenty of bugs LOL...I was going to call Denny but figured his wife needed some valued hubby time, plus I wasn't sure what kinda mood I was going to be in, I 'm still mad about a ceiling paint job here at the house I am working on, stupid paint wont stick..
but anyway, I started out throwing the popR, against all odds, due to bluebird skies and calm wind, caught a real nice crappy on a fluke a few cast later, got tired of the sun beating down on me so found a shade tree and wacky rigged a tiki..it was like magic!
a pounder size bass nailed it!....I could feel the line take off and she went under a limb, when I set the hook I thought I had missed her but stuck a piece of wood instead, took the boat over to the other side and my line started moving, the bass was still on!
Got that one in and got 3 more on tiki, they sure hold onto it, I was looking at some birds behind me on one strike, and got another one letting it sink, while taking a leak...lol
