I don't have a problem with anything anyone here says. I just have a problem with how they say it. If you're gonna just keep repeating the same old disproven, kneejerk political reactions, and act like you're throwing out profound new ideas, then you should shove off. If you want to keep it civil, then fine. Before you call someone a name you need to ask yourself if it really truly fits, and if you're willing to take the backlash, because it's hard not to take things personal when the name-calling begins.

first off let me say that i have no problem with spro at all, i didn't mean it like that. but i think that a newer member should be a member for more than a few months before he starts telling members who have been on here for several years what to do. and i agree that a lot of times a thread over politics gets out of hand, but i still think that politics have their place on here.

bryce if that was directed at me, you are totally right. i got a little heated and maybe shouldn't have. i sent bassfishingwny telling him why i was a little jumpy over a few of his post, he and i talked about it and we are over it.

Naw, C-Rig...it wasn't aimed at you, though like you said yourself, you might have said a couple of things you wanted to take back or temper with an explanation. I mostly meant when people are losing an argument, and they fall back on name-calling, i.e, calling the other side racists, etc.

Besides, I haven't been on the boards long enough to yell at you, rofl. (sorry, j/k I couldn't help myself )

You know I have seen that joke with just about every substitution in the names that you can have and it's funny no matter how many times i read it , as towards politics being discussed on the board i do believe they have their place thats why we have a none fishing related talk board right ,
