Goodbye, buddy...
Guys, I just lost my best buddy not an hour ago. He died in my arms, and I heard his last breath escape his little beak. He was playing with a toy on his cage, and it looks like somehow he got his head under a bar, panicked, and broke his neck.
His name was Gandalf, and he had been my buddy for almost 13 years. We had a great Sunday, listening to music, with him dancing clownishly to the beat.  I plan on burying him tomorrow in the back yard. He used to love to look out the back window ("do you see the biirds?" he used to say). I will be including his favorite toy.  I never thought this day would come. He was supposed to outlive me, and I am amazed at how broken up I am about it. This one is not going to pass very quickly. So long, Gandalf. I'm gonna miss you, buttmunch (his favoirte word).  R.I.P. Gandalf 1997-2010
