Deacon, Thank you for you time to answer.I think certain lakes has a color preference, but for the most part , I think the same colors will work no matter where you are.I fish alot of shad colored baits and there are no shad in the lakes I fish, but I catch fish on the color.What threw me with your response is that I would have thought Lucky crafts color selection was primarily made for Japan's bass. If that were true, you can see the bass here adapt rather easily to thier color selection, I did buy the american shad color knowing there isn't any shad where I am, but I suspect I didn't go wrong in buying it.
