OK, I am not really reporting anything because we got SKUNKED (then again it was 45 degrees out... don't know what I was expecting). Anyway, It was feeling very warm out before we left, and so I took 2 friends. One had been fishign with me before, and has caught a bass. The other never fished in his life. Being the genius I am, I was fishing a case magic stick (4.5 inch stickbait) in clear smoke. My friend Sunny (the one who never fished before) needed to borrow some gear so he used my ugly stick+ shimano stradic combo with a green pumpkin and brown booyah jig with a green pumpkin paca craw.
![]() By the end of the day I had him just casting with his wrist and not every muscle in his body. Although we got skunked, he had a blast casting because the jig flew like a plane. Then I hooked my other friend up with a husky jerk. ![]() Both of them fished their lures completely wrong, but the one with the jig did get a few bites ![]() So we went around the pond. When we got to my nice spot... fence. Fences? pssh no problem! ![]() lure snagged while fishing over a fence? We got it! ![]() and the feature presentation... what happens when a crazy creative fishing child gets snagged about 3 feet into the water? step by step tutorial. 1.Build a bridge with 2 small fallen tree trunks. walk out on them, using bushes for support. MAKE SURE THEY DON'T ROLL! stop by a bush to notice there is line stuck in there. make mental note to get it out and find any lures at the end. ![]() 2. walk out further. ![]() 3. reach out and attempt to snag lure with a stick ![]() 4. retrieve bait ![]() ![]()
