night tourney

me and a buddy fished a weekly wednesday night tourney lastnight, and got 2nd! our 10lb bag was anchored by a 5lber i caught on a jig. the tourney was only 4 hours long so 10lbs was pretty good. while i was catching my fish on a chompers pb&j football jig with a baby brushhog trailer, my co-angler was catching his fish on a homemade black spinnerbait. best of all there was a rep for basspro there who took pics of my big bass for basspro magazine! we won a little money after we repaid ourselves for gas and the entry fee so it was a great night. there was around 25 boats and all of these guys can flat catch fish, so to compete with them felt really good.
