				 | Thursday Evening

The flashes in the sky caused a little concern as the big bolts of lightning traveled north of us.. The entire evening I kept a watchfull eye to the sky and my weather radar map.. High tide at dusk meant the fish would be at all the feeder creeks and big flats. True to form most all where caught in less than 6 inches of water or the mouth of feeders. I had the honor of fishing with Andy last night and his elephant gun flyrod was deadly. I say thread the needle back six feet between two pads and the big Waldorf hair bug would plop within a pie-plate of the target. Very impressive. Here are some pics. Lost count on the fish but I would say at least 8 chunky LGMouth fell to the Waldorf Hair Bug. Capt Mike

Mike, Hope to see you out Saturday evening in the creek. I am taking my 8 and 10 year olds out. I have to stop at Bass Pro on the way home tonight to pick up something top water with NO TREBLE HOOKS of course. Dave |

That is what I was thinking. I'm, really thinking not having to remove any hooks from anybody.
