The heat was oppressive till about 6 pm and a storm blew thru. We hid under a cliff and let the twenty to thirty mph winds blow them selfs out. We ate chicken and ribs and then went back at them with weighted worms. Earlier in the heat we had four fish on on topwater and each came unbuttoned. The cold air came in and the frogs stopped there singing and topwater was done. When you get lemons make lemonaid. Bingo first fish in.
The birthday boy scores his first in the boat. Another little chunk I see a pad twitch and birthday boy hits the mark.. BAM 4lber This next part is hard for me to report. I had a big Z spook on a surf rod for those way back casts and I was showing how we use it and cast it out and started the walk and BAM a 6lber hit my demo cast. Darn I should not have done that.. Bad guide bad guide. Never again will I cast. Capt Mike
