Where I live there are droughts every now and then, but we have been getting alot of rain. I have a pond at my ranch which my father built about 10 years ago, but I do not go to the ranch often. But now that we go every week, I decided to fill that pond with some fish, I went to my local lake and casted with a cast net, to see if I can catch some fingerlings. All I caught were about 20shad. I threw them in about 5 months ago, and I haven't put anything else since, but I plan to throw some adult bass, along with some fingerlings, and other different species. How big should the shad be by now? Where can I find fish hatcheries in laredo tx, or in south texas?
Thanks, -St3V0
