Hey guys! After nearly 4 seasons of fishing under my belt, I am actually going to get a chance to go fishing from a boat for the second time ever for bass. And it is going to be on a real bass boat! I am so stoked that I cannot wait.
However, I would like to know if you boaters and non-boaters can share with me anything tips and things I should know or at least be mindful of. I don't want to make it my last trip either. Some things I do plan to take the initiative on are: Bringing some grub and coffee Offering $$$ for gas Bringing 3-4 rigs (already approved by the boat owner) Life vest and appropriate clothing. So thanks in advance. I am heading out this Tuesday in the usual, brutal, overcast, windy winter conditions that make most bass anglers quit this time of year in the Pacific Northwest. I imagine if we find good spots, the drop shot is going to nail so bass, hopefully some smallies. ![]() And yes, I've only fished for bass from a boat once ever. ![]() -ib the shorebound schmoe
