Hey guys,
Has anyone used this rig, it seems to be a little on the heavy side. I'm looking to buy my brother his first baitcaster and want to keep it around the $100 mark. Any suggestions http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...=SearchResults

For a Glorrified Zebco. I say that's a pretty nice price. Weight is an issue save alittle longer to buy a new reel. Or go to ebay & find a slighty used pro level fishing reel for the same money

I'd go with a Daiwa. that was my first baitcaster, I pretty easy for me to learn on. I started with the Procaster SE (79.99). Another good one may be the TD-Pro (99.99 i think). It's a BPS exclusive reel. Just make sure you don't get it confused with the Daiwa Exceler. Same reel, just they added more stuff to the BPS ones (including like $40 on the price tag).
