Default I am PISSED!!!

we just found out that someone has broken into my wifes ebay account, her email, and one of our credit cards and changed all the passwords. plus on ebay they put 3 cars up for auction 1 was an audi, 1 was an escalade, and 1 was a chrysler 300. thankfully ebay flaged it and removed them from the auctions but this is a bunch of b.s. i would love to find this person swimming on the lake and run my 200 horse optimax right up their ***!

Sorry about that, man! It's very cool that Ebay caught it before it got fubar. Best of luck with the whole thing.

thanks pig. it's like my grandpa said when we told him about it. "you think this is bad, as the economy gets worse there will be a whole lot more of this **** going on because there are some people who just will not work for a living".

Ebay is pretty good at finding that stuff. When someone got my dad's ebay password, they put about 50 flat screen tv's up for sale. Ebay caught it and got my dad's password back. Hopefully the credit card thing works out ok too.

that is sound advice, but through our jig company pretty much everything we buy has to be bought over the internet which sucks!

Default ebay

Had basically the same thing happen to me. Someone stole my identification and charged up a bunch of stuff that I had no use for. After calling them and trying to get the situation straightened out I had to replace my handle to a different name.
This took a while and several calls to verify that my new handle was correct. On my inbox it stated that I had several items that needed to be taken care of, after a while I got the situation handled. It was a hassle to say the least.

I got a card years ago with a very low limit just for online stuff. Over the years the limit has gone up and up and today I checked my account and have 2 pending purchases that I did not make. The cc company will not do anything until the charges have been made but I am still angry, even though they are only for twenty some dollars. I bet these a-holes were making smaller charges hoping that they would slide through without notice.

Same thing happened to me years ago, Bender, back when I was young and dumb. I gave my debit card # out online to a site I knew nothing about. They killed me with charges ranging from $9 to $30 for the next couple of weeks. I was also too stupid to keep track of my checking account activity, so I didn't notice for a month that $400 of my hard-earned grass-cutting money was gone. And when you're 12, that's a lot of money...
