Flat Swamp, High Rock Lake
Just had to share this...went bank fishing today at Flat Swamp...in a cove right next to the launch area. Bass weren't bitin...finally saw why...spawning like mad!! I quit fishing & just walked the upper end of the cove watching fish sex! I've seen it on video before but this was spectacular...watching the females laying eggs & the tiny males (in comparison) come behind doing there thing. I know the water magnifies the size...but some of these females were huge! Plus some were done & the males sticking around guarding the nest. All in all, even tho I left empty handed...was a good day!
