Lately, I've really got a good jig bite going, especially in the 15-25' range. These bass have really been on the 1/4 Thunderstruck Jig like fleas on a kittie, but of all the bass I've been catchin', nothing would top two pounds. I've always thought of the jig as a 'big bass' lure, but lately, the 'big bass' seem to be shy.
With water temps straddling the low to mid 60's, shouldn't the bigger bass be down deep in preparation for the spawn? Should I upsize my jigs for bigger bass? Bigger profile?-Buzz
