You buy it, and it can be quite expensive for advanced programs.

While we are on the subject I have a question for someone that knows puters a bit better than me. Somehow you can say use a pointer and actually draw a line say on a photo to circle a piece of structure or point hout something in a photo or whatever. How do you do that. It would make it so much eeasier for me to explain things on whatever if I knoew how to do this.

i do photo shop some stuff. but i will tell ya once ya have a picture saved in your documents. you click on it the click preview a once this picture comes up there is a small tool bar under it.look near the right side youwill see a delete tab, a print tab,a save tab,and a photo shop tab.. open photo shop tab by clicking on it.. this allows to adjust and add lines or colors to ANY exsiting photo you have in your document file..

laser check your im for a special picture some one i am sure you will reconise.

laser,
go to start, programs, and then PAINT...open paint and then open
the folder ya have the picture in, theres a toolbar that shows drawling or painting tool, you can do whatever to your pic with those, then save
(rename it)

Thanks JB I been going crazy with this Adobe Photoshop thing. I think I have to buy the program to use it. LOL yours is free and I already have it.

Just thought I would throw this in. If you are wanting to buy Photoshop or a similar program, and you know someone who is attending college, ask them if they can get it for you. Many college campuses offer that program for a fraction of what it costs on the open market. A friend of my son bought it from the university he attends for roughly a little less than half what it normally sells for.

or get the "gimp" software. I like it pretty well and it is a free opensource photo editor. It doesn't have everything PS has, but it works for me.
