Default Mugged by the bait monkey

well i finally did it. i finally decided on which new falcon jig rod i wanted and i bit the bullet. i pulled the trigger on the falcon cara head turner.

http://www.falconrods.com/cara_casting.html

then i bought another revo sx to put on it.

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st...ems#itemDetail

then what line do i want on a jig rod?

http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/st..._SearchResults

i also needed a few strike king sexy shad crankbaits, so by the time i finally got done in the crankbait isle i have enough strike king sexy shads in all sizes that they now have their own box, just like my bomber fat a crankbaits.

i also picked up a few spinnerbaits, a binder to keep my spinnerbaits in, some reel grips for the new reel, and an extra spool of seaguar abrazx and p-line evolution.

* when i was deciding on which rod i want i was considering the head turner which is designed with a softer tip for throwing heavier football jigs or the finesse jig rod. i was using the falcon fc5-17 which is a 7'mh rod for throwing jigs on, i really like this rod for finesse jigs so i decided to get a heavy rod built with a lot of power to throw the heavier jigs on. the total was around $430 and we left there to go to the flw weigh-in at table rock so all in all it was a great day.

for a report on this rod i would like to say that this is probably the best jig rod i have ever had my hands on. the split grip will take a little getting used to as far as casting to targets in concerned but my God you can chuck a jig a long azz ways with this rod. it has a ton of backbone and it is sensative beyond words, or atleast with 15lb flouro.
