A good after work trip

I took the boat to work yesterday to take one of my students out after work, but he forgot he had other plans. Didn't take much to convince Tina to leave work early, & take the other (Jon) boat up to the local reservoir.

Had a few small LM, then she hooked into this....

3lb 11oz

Got it on a 5" Berkley green pumpkin worm

Now the bar is set & I'm going to have to reclaim my position & bragging rights

that is an AWESUM fish man. and i too thought of ol tim the tool man taylor's neighbor when i saw the pic. and she doesn't look like she is smiling either. i would be grinning from ear to ear if i had one that big. as for the bar being set, don't even try to catch her man. after this it'll get worse for YOU, lol. she got the mojo man. let her go and have fun watching, hahaha.

I was thinking she looks a little severe. Did the bass poop in her hand?

Hi all, (Tina writing as Paul)

I was a bit nervous because I wasn't able to get the hook & worm out. The LM was out of the water for a few minutes, and I was afraid he wouldn't make it. Over the last week, that particular pond had a few big ones pulled out. Pisses me off when people don't follow the rules, it's catch and release only here in NH till June 15th. People that I know pulled a 5lb fish from those waters, and there were some 2-3 lb fish taken as well. It takes time for a fish to get that big, and I was afraid that if my fish didn't make it, well, that the population of LM in the pond would suffer. Truth be told, I hollered with joy when he danced on the top of the water, and hollered some more when he ended up in the boat. But then realizing that I couldn't get the hook out, well, that's when the panic struck. I'm thinking the next picture Paul posts of me will have that huge grin, because the next one will be bigger !!!
