We have been talking alot about the newer reels, with their bearing counts, and available gearing, so on and so forth. It made me stop and think about some of the old stuff that I use to use to try and get it done with. I went to the garage and dug out these oldies but goodies. Thought I would share them with you, and hope that maybe you could post some of your older treasures.
What they are, and I am sure some of you are quite familar with them. 1.) The original Ronco Pocket Fisherman 2.)Garcia Abumatic 60, one of my first reels, it was given to me by my Grandmother. It has got to be at least 60 years old. 3.)Diawa Millionaire 5HS 4.)Shimano Bantam Magplus 250Xsg XHS xtra high speed at 5.1 to 1, my first low profile BC. 5.)And last but not lease is an old Zebo 33, seen alot of action when I was a teen. Funny thing is, I have no doubt that I could spool some of these up and still catch fish. ![]() Last edited by Tavery5; 06-29-10 at 05:14 PM. Reason: correction |
