first bass of the season
 caught this little guy on a zoom horny toad in green pumpkin, burnin it fast on the surface along the edge of the pond, he may be small but he hit that frog like a 6 lber.

lol, did he scair ya when he hit? they do me. the little bass seem to hit a bait faster and harder than the big ones do. or so i've been told, never have felt it myself.

 caught 2 smallies the other day too, but i broke into a country club to fish an awesome pond in there, hahaha outlaw fishing. i wish i could show y'all some pics of them but i was too worried about getting arrested to take pictures LOL

Right on! I just got my first one of the season too and it feels great. Congrats. One thing I've noticed about bass that size is that seem to have a lot of vigor.
